For the best basement wall insulation, look to InSoFast insulation panels. They’re the supreme combination of affordability and effectiveness while being so easy to install novice homeowners can handle this step themselves. Even further, these panels provide support for drywall, cabinetry, and mounted accessories – making framework unnecessary.
Installing InSoFast insulation products will lower your utility costs. This valuable benefit of InSoFast insulation is commonly considered, but other benefits you might not have realized include protection from condensation, mildew, and rot. The joy of comfortable living shouldn’t be overlooked. A basement without musty smells and mildewing materials is a great advantage.
InSoFast, LLC, produces insulation panels that form wall systems that perform well beyond energy regulations while outperforming competing insulation products and making installation more convenient.
InSoFast interior insulation panels, available in two series, are 24×48 inches in size. They’re lightweight and easily stacked. Systems can be built with a stack of panels, a utility knife, a saw of some sort, a caulking gun, Loctite PL Premium 3X Stronger Construction Adhesive, and a can of spray foam insulation.
The UX 2.0 line of insulation panels is 2” thick with embedded studs on the flat side of the panel. The insulation is an R-value of 8.5, and each panel is both affordable and in-line with all basic code guidance.
If your climate or other building demands indicate that you need a stronger R-value of insulation, the InSoFast EXi 2.5 series of insulation panels is 20% more insulating than the base series. This system has an R-value of 10 due to its 2.5” thick panel design and tightly interlocking notch-and-groove edges.
InSoFast insulation panels keep a constant R-value despite moisture or time, and the moisture control channels built into the panels wick water down away from the wall interior.
