Exterior Wall Insulation Solutions
Exterior wall insulation is critical to the comfort of a home, with as much as 30% of a home's heat loss happening through the walls. Quality exterior continuous insulation will not only increase comfort by maintaining consistent temperatures throughout the home, but will also eliminate condensation in cold climates, a leading cause of mold. Traditional foam board insulation can trap water vapor inside of the wall and does not provide drainage for bulk water. Our engineered solutions change the way homes are built, simplifying resilient, long lasting construction.

Basement Wall Insulation Solutions
Turn the cold, musty basement into a safe, comfortable living space with InSoFast's products for basement insulation. Uninsulated basements are prone to condensation on the walls and floor, which causes the basement to smell musty and leads to poor indoor air quality. By adding a layer of continuous insulation, you can stop the condensation and increase the air quality in basements while increasing the comfort of the living space. Our basement insulation solutions are easily installed by a DIY'er or contractor and can turn the worst room in the house to the best room in the house!

Shipping Container Insulation Solutions
Shipping containers are difficult to insulate because they have an extremely high risk of condensation and thermal bridging. When insulating from the inside of the container, it is important to have quality insulation with a good air seal because the interior living space will generally have elevated humidity. The walls of the container must be isolated from the living space to prevent condensation. Traditional insulation products like fiberglass are extremely risky for shipping containers because humidity can easily penetrate the insulation. Adding a vapor barrier will not solve this issue because the walls of the container are also a vapor barrier and it will create a "wet diaper effect". When insulating the outside of the container, it is important to completely insulate the entire metal container because the metal container is very conductive to thermal bridging. Our shipping container products are the right choice for the DIY'er or the pros!

Roof Insulation Solutions
Roofs are exposed to high heat, wind and water more than any other part of a home, making roof insulation challenging, especially for conditioned attics or vaulted ceilings. It is common for conditioned attics or vaulted ceilings to have spray foam installed on the bottom of the roof deck, which can be dangerous if the roof leaks because it has the tendency to hide roof leaks and retain moisture. This can lead to mold, rot, insect infestation and structural damage, making it a poor option for roof insulation. When the spray foam is moved to above the roof deck, it has the opposite effect, creating a resilient roof assembly that is resistant to moisture. Blown or batt insulation used above the roof deck and protected by a WRB will also have a similar effect. Our products for roof insulation create resilient roof assemblies with features not found in any other products on the market.
X-Brackets For Roofs
- A cross-ventelated rain screen allows drainage and drying directly underneath the roofing material
- Ventilation above the roof deck functions similar to a vented attic, keeping the roof cool
- Less insulation is required by code when insulation is installed continuously
- Compatible with Closed-cell spray foam or blown insulation
- X-Brackets are designed to withstand hurricane force winds
- Easily installed with standard construction screws or framing nails
- Pre-engineered system does not require job specific engineering
Floor Insulation Solutions
Floor insulation has traditionally been installed underneath the slab in the form of foamboard. Insulating on top of the slab provides a few benefits that cannot be had from underslab insulation. Increase comfort by isolating the room from the thermal mass of the slab, which is the reason why a concrete floor feels cold even though it is the same temperature as the rest of the room. This can eliminate the need for in-floor heating. Additionally, insulating above the slab can help to soften the floor so it does not feel like you are walking on concrete. Our products for floors are designed to withstand high load requirements of floors.
