Best Way to Insulate Interior Walls

Your basement remodel will take far less time if you choose InSoFast insulation panels from the beginning of the project. We provide high-quality insulation that will withstand the tests of time and are ideal for insulating a cold, damp space like a basement. The closed-cell, injection-molded Expanded Polystyrene foam panels are useful for a variety of purposes, environments, and surfaces.

Since 2006, InSoFast, LLC has created and promoted insulation panels that are easily applied and outstanding in effect. Our systems of continuous insulation meet and exceed existing and future energy regulations, and they outperform competitors and facilitate various steps in the construction plan.

We make and ship these panels from our sites in South Dakota, Idaho, Minnesota, and Massachusetts, and if your destination is within the continental United States, the shipping costs are waived.

    About That Basement Remodel

Remodeling a basement is especially challenging because of its sub-ground location and proximity to water. Damp, cold, and mildew are common basement issues – all of which are effectively mitigated with moisture-proofing and insulation.

The typical insulation most people think of is the fiberglass sort. It soaks up water, resulting in mold and mildew, and its installation requires a wooden frame to hold it. InSoFast insulation panels include moisture control channels and embedded studs for a rot resistant frame.

The spray foam insulation that goes directly on walls is expensive, messy, and requires professional installation. It works well, but the cost-reward ratio doesn’t make sense.

InSoFast insulation panels are an effective insulation solution, and the systems our products create provide continuous coverage with an easy application process.

For your basement remodel, we offer two series for the interior: the UX 2.0 line or the EXi 2.5 panels. Exterior surfaces can be insulated with EXe 2.5 panels.

At 2” deep, InSoFast UX 2.0 panels have a flat surface that displays the faces of the built-in studs. The system created with these panels has an R-value of 8.5 and includes a corrosion resistant frame, moisture control channels, raceways for wiring, and a straightforward panel design.

For a greater R-value, look to InSoFast EXi 2.5. This line of insulation progresses to an R-value of 10, is 20% stronger than the UX series with a depth of 2.5”, and outperforms framed walled competitors with an R-value of 15.

The panels interconnect with one another tightly, and the only tools needed include a caulking gun loaded with Loctite PL Premium 3X Stronger Construction Adhesive, a utility knife, a saw of your choice, and a can of spray foam insulation for air sealing the seams and edges.

The best way to protect your basement from damp and cold is to insulate the room with InSoFast insulation panels. Contact us at (888) 501-7899 or visit our website to find valuable guidance, specs, ordering information, and other valuable resources!
