InSoFast CX Shipping Container Panels create a system of continuous insulation through interconnected panels. Each panel consists of closed-cell EPS and can work on any surface. They are made specifically for shipping container side walls and provide insulation and frame in one step.
CX panels are 44×24 inches and follow an 11-inch repeating pattern along the walls of corrugation. With a 2” thickness, these panels leave more room for use.
InSoFast InSerts are special EPS foam sleeves that fill up all the recessed spaces on a corrugated wall. These sleeves create a smooth layer upon which you then will install a layer of InSoFast interior insulation paneling. You can choose between UX 2.0 or EXi 2.5 for this purpose.
InSoFast CX-LP Low-Pro Studs should be applied to the corrugated sides with InSerts filling the recessed spaces. Then, your choice of rigid foam insulation can fill in the spaces. This process is cheaper, requiring less room for shipping, but since it lacks the electric raceways and moisture control channels included in the CX panels, it’s not great if you plan to run services to your container.
