The exterior of a home must be tough and durable. Exposed to elements like sun, rain, wind, and snow, the home’s components must withstand these tests and continue to perform. The best insulation for outside walls is what you’ll need, and what the team here at InSoFast, LLC, provides.

InSoFast insulation panels fit together and create wall systems of strong, continuous insulation coverage on any flat surface. Each panel is 24×48 inches and composed of closed-cell, injection-molded Expanded Polystyrene foam that is non-porous and twice as insulating per square inch when compared to open cell insulation products. We offer insulation products for interior and exterior applications as well as shipping container conversion projects.

    InSoFast Insulation for Exterior Applications

For use outdoors, we offer the InSoFast EXe 2.5 insulation panel. These panels’ dimensions are 24x48x2.5 inches, and when they’re put together into a wall of insulation, they provide a balance of strong energy protection and mitigation of moisture.

Each EXe 2.5 panel replaces the wiring chases seen on the interior panels with drainage channels, so the system has moisture mitigation on each side. The closed-cell EPS foam is non-porous, so the system can serve as a reliable weather resistant barrier that repels water rather than absorb it.

The panel retains its R-10 thermal efficiency that outperforms fiberglass insulation labelled as R-15. With exterior insulation from InSoFast, LLC, you’ll be able to max out the energy efficiency of your home. The InSoFast PLUS method involves covering your InSoFast insulation system with rigid foam boards of your choice for a cumulative degree of R-value.

Our products are easily installed with tongue-and-groove notches that connect the panels to one another. A complete system leaves no gaps for thermal bridging, and all you’ll need for the process is a utility knife, a saw, a nail gun or drill, and canned spray foam insulation. The process doesn’t require much construction skill or time, so most homeowners will be able to insulate their home’s exterior independently.

A key reason to choose InSoFast insulation for exterior purposes is the lack of pre-installation work. Our products can be applied directly to the existing house wrap or barrier. Leave the trim and the lead paint, and seal it within a system of InSoFast insulation.

Once the system is in place and sealed with canned spray foam insulation, finishing materials can go right over the system. The panels contain non-ferrous studs that can support up to 250 pounds per stud and welcome a plethora of finishing options.

The insulation specialists here at InSoFast, LLC, await your call. Our number is (888) 501-7899, and we’re ready to defend InSoFast insulation panels as the answer to those who want to know what the best insulation for outside walls might be.
