The system uses full width batts that are typically used for steel framed walls to allow installation over 16″ or 24″ O.C. framing. The insulation is protected by a WRB and a ventilated rain screen for long-lasting durability and a substantially higher drying potential. Batt Insulation as Continuous Insulation

Batt Insulation Outside?
Traditionally, batt insulation has only been used in the stud cavities inside the wall, but that changes with the Batt-Bracket. The system covers the batt insulation with a vapor permeable WRB that protects the batts from moisture while allowing quick outward drying. This puts the batts in a much better drying potential than if the batts were installed in the cavity and also gives the benefit of continuous exterior insulation.
